MELASMA FIX
Melasma is a common skin issue.
The condition causes dark, discolored patches on your skin caused by an overproduction of melanin, likely brought on by hormonal changes.
It’s also called chloasma, or the “mask of pregnancy,” when it occurs in pregnant women.
These treatments don’t guarantee that melasma won’t come back. You might have to return for follow-up visits and are advised to stick to certain skin treatment practices to reduce the risk of the melasma returning. These include minimizing your sun exposure and wearing sunscreen daily.
A 30 day course of Hydroquinone before starting IPL is strongly recommended for effective results.
