We’ve been treating Tres Belle Spa clients of all genders, pronouns and complexions with lasers since 2004. You could say we are “laser pioneers”. Body hair is a personal choice. If yours stops you from living a full life or causes you stress, let’s deal with it. There are many reasons that laser hair removal could be beneficial to you. We partner with dermatologists to provide laser hair removal to their patients and our clients for some of the following:

  • Ingrown hair is hair that breaks the skin surface and then goes right back into the follicle. This can cause scars, blisters and cysts filled with infection leading to painful sensitivity in the area. This is commonly caused from shaving.

  • Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome aka PCOS is a condition in which the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of androgens. Of the many side effects, are excess hair on the body.

  • Hirsutism a condition resulting in excessive hair growth. Hirsutism may be caused by high levels of androgen, menopause-related hormone changes, or disorders of the adrenal glands or ovaries.

  • Cushing Disease occurs when your body is exposed to high levels of the hormone cortisol. It can develop from your adrenal glands making too much cortisol or from taking medications such as prednisone over a long period. This can result in thick dark hair on the body.

  • Gender Transition hormone replacement therapy aka HRT may ease the appearance of facial hair but often, leaves body hair intact. Some individuals may find this uncomfortable as they transition.

  • Saving Money in the long run, removing unwanted hair will save you money from constant waxing appointments throughout your life. If your hair bothers you, laser will take that worry right out of your life, instead of having to deal with painful waxing every few weeks.

  • Safety is a factor for choosing laser, the more sophisticated process of hair removal. Our IPL laser machines actually kill harmful bacteria. There’s no chance of hot wax burn or unsanitary equipment.
