Date with a Cruciferous April 02 2012
Hey, I'm a skincare pro and a veggie lover, what'd ya expect? Cauliflower is not only excellent for your body, it has essential anti-aging nutrients. Most prevalent in regards to anti-aging are vitamins C, K and alpha-linolenic acid. Follow this SUPER SIMPLE recipe and get gorgeous with a cruciferous tonight. [ This simple recipe had the "hater" in this house asking for seconds! ]
A head of cauliflower
3 garlic cloves
1/4 of a lemon
Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Break cauliflower in to florets.
Place in heavy oven-safe pot
Coat with olive oil
Smash 3 garlic cloves [ smashing releases the tasty garlic oils ], add to pot
Squeeze about 1/4 of a lemon [ adds a nice brightness ]
Salt/pepper to taste
Roast for about 30 minutes, mixing after 15 minutes or so. Voila! Go now. Eat.
