Winter Skin Tips At Home
Dear Friends,
The beautiful winter season is upon us! Any extreme weather, hot or cold, can effect hydration levels and skin comfort. I thought I would share some tips to keep your skin healthy and comfortable between spa visits.
1. Cool air humidifier: puts moisture into the air to help keep skin, hair and body hydrated.
2. Use only cool water on skin: cool water is soothing and won’t dry skin like hot water.
3. Do not clean face in the shower: ~shower water can strip the moisture our of skin.
4. Hydrate your body in winter as much as in summer: t’s important to drink water and eat foods with high water content
5. Use hydrating serums: they get to work on improving the skin on a cellular level
Don’t skip your 2x daily skincare routine. Your skin needs to be fed lots of nutrients in winter!
